Many of us routinely drive by areas that we dont know exist, with nature's beauty just out of view. Bolton Pond is one such place. Nestled just off of the start of Route 384 in Bolton, it is easy to drive right by, with the pond just out of view. But if you take the time to make the turn-off, and drive down to the park that is there, the pond is a haven for wildlife such as geese, heron and beaver. This view, on a recent fall morning, shows the beauty that is easily missed, though within reach, with the beautiful fall colors and the geese taking flight in the cool morning air....
