Along the trail at Diana's pool, there is this one outcropping of rock, along with these pines, and in the spring, in the wet weather, it was a sight that caught my eye, as the rich color of the pine tree bark, the roots entangled near the edge of the rock, and then the rock itself, changed over many years, but hanging out over the river, as if suspended in the air, yet supporting the tree...
